Breakfast at the former guildhall
At Hotel Rüden, you can enjoy breakfast right at the heart of Schaffhausen Old Town. A hearty, balanced and delicious breakfast is a Sorell tradition. We take great care to select the very best ingredients, opting for local produce and Swiss specialities wherever possible. The bread comes from the regional bakery, the coffee is roasted in Zurich by Stoll Kaffee, the jam is made to our own recipe and the cheese comes from the Swiss dairy Jumi.

Hotel Rüden does not have its own restaurant; however, nearby you’ll find a wide variety of cafés, bars and restaurants. From the castle restaurant at the Rhine Falls to vineyard wine taverns and a restaurant with its own park – take a look online to find your ideal dining spot, or ask one of our team for tips. And if you’re planning a special event, our events team will make sure the catering is just right.
