The Sorell Hotel Zürichberg combines two architectural styles from different eras. There is the historical old building, built in 1900, and the modern, wood-panelled annex. The renowned team of architects from IDA 14 by Karsten Schmidt married the two styles harmoniously in 2020, while respecting the characteristic features of the different architectural styles.
In the new rooms, high functionality meets restrained, warm colours creating a cosy, elegant atmosphere where guests feel welcome and comfortable. Relax in a comfortable box-spring bed, enjoy a fresh Nespresso coffee in the morning and treat yourself to a moment of relaxation with Rituals beauty products. It's no surprise many of our guests like to wake up early, as the Sorell breakfast is no ordinary breakfast: jams and breads, many self-made, cheese which comes straight from alpine farmers, the ham is a piece of traditional craft, the eggs come from Swiss free-range chickens. The newspaper is also ready - what a beautiful morning!
