Traditional favourites meet timeless classics. At Wirtshaus zur Krone we do not need extravagant ingredients from all over the world. Our chef rather relies on regional produce which he personally sources from the local market twice every week.
As Winterthur's oldest hotel we feel obliged to the tradition which surrounds our house. And yet we're not old and rusty, but pursue with juvenile spirit the thing that matters most to us: The satisfaction of our guests.

COVID-19 NEWS
In accordance with current COVID-19 restrictions, with effect from Monday 13 September 2021, access to our hotels and restaurants will be limited to guests who have been vaccinated against, recovered from or tested negative for Covid-19. Indoors, all persons must wear a face mask. This applies to both guests and staff. Consumption must take place at tables.
