How many rooms does the hotel have?

The Sorell Hotel Rex has 41 rooms in 3 different categories: Standard, Business and Superior.

From what time can I check in and when do I have to check out by?

The rooms are available from 3:00 pm and you must check out by 12:00 am. Early check-in or late check-out times can be arranged on request, subject to availability and for an additional charge.

Does the hotel have a luggage service?

Yes, we help you carry your luggage to your room. A storage space is available.

At what times is the reception manned?

Our reception is manned for you daily from 07.00 to 17.00. Outside reception hours, our Sorell team is at your disposal by telephone. Check-in is possible at any time via our check-in machine in the lobby.

In exceptional cases, modified opening hours apply.

Does the hotel have on-site parking facilities?

Yes we have 9 parking spaces reserved for hotel-use only (four in front of the hotel and five behind). The parking rate is CHF 15.- per day.

Does the hotel provide disabled-friendly accommodation?

The Sorell Hotel Rex has no rooms with disabled access. Our staff at reception will be happy to provide you with further information.

Does the hotel provide special bedding / pillows for allergy sufferers?

Yes, we have special pillows for allergy sufferers. Please ask when you make your reservation or at reception when you arrive.

Are dogs allowed in the hotel?

Yes, our four-legged friends are welcome. There is an extra charge of CHF 20.- per night, without food.

What are the rates for children?

Free cribs are available on request for children under the age of two. Children up to their 6th birthday can sleep in their parents’ bed free of charge. Children from 6 years up to their 12th birthday stay in an extra bed (family room) for an additional charge of CHF 50.- night. From 12 years the extra charge for an additional bed is CHF 70.- per night.

Does the hotel provide extra beds and cots? If so, at what price?

Unfortunately we do not offer any extra beds but 3 family rooms.

Is Wi-Fi available in the hotel?

Yes, we offer free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel for our guests.

What dining options does the hotel offer?

The Sorell breakfast is included in the price for the room. In addition to the cold buffet breakfast, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and bacon are also available.
